Our sustainability work
Kiviks Museum is Scandinavia's first accredited museum in the UN's Sustainable Development Solutions Network!
On June 30, 2022, Kiviks Museum was accepted as an accredited member of the UN's global sustainability network.
It is the first museum in all of Scandinavia to achieve this status after a thorough six-month review process.
Together with universities, research institutes and sustainability companies, we are now working to find local solutions to the global sustainability goals.
Kiviks Museum's role is to be a sustainability ambassador for museums and archives and a way into a global network of researchers and solutions.
