Our booking rules.
Here you can read more about how to book visits and guided walks through us. We can also arrange guided tours for bus excursions, picnics and coffee baskets. We help book accommodation if you need tips.
Book a visit to the archive or the museum:
You can easily book your visit to the archive and museum by emailing or calling (see contact information at the bottom of the page). We accept booked visits from anything from one person upwards depending on time and place. Please book well in advance! And get in touch in good time if you have to cancel or change the time.
Ordinary entrance fees are charged when booking a visit to the museum. Visiting the archive is free of charge.
We charge fees for copying, scanning and research in the archive. It isnotpermitted to use images from the archive without an agreement with us. Special rules may also apply to access to certain archives and how they may be used. Please ask before you come what is available and what applies.
For regular guided walkswithout foodapplies to the following:
We use the booking service Salver for our regular guided tours on fixed dates. All bookings arebinding! For a guided hike on a fixed date to take place, there must be a minimum number of booked places, otherwise the hike will be automatically canceled by the booking system. In that case, you will receive a notification about it by SMS or email, and your money will be refunded. Salver's own booking fee is refundednot. Remember to read e-mails or text messages on the same day as the hike, so that you receive up-to-date information from the booking system.
In your booking confirmation you will find more information about the starting location and how to cancel. Follow these instructions if you need to make changes. There are also rules here about how much money you get back and how late you can cancel to get money back. Salver's own booking fee is refundednot.
If you need to cancel or make changes to your booking, it must be doneno later than 48 hoursbefore your booked event takes place. The booking service normally closes12 hoursbefore the event takes place. Out of respect for others who booked on the same day, keep in mind that your cancellation may cause the entire arrangement to be cancelled, if the minimum number is not reached.
If you want to ask if a hike will take place on the same day, and want to book a place, please contact us directly on phone 070-512 08 30. Subject to space, we can accommodate more.

Regular guided walks that include lighter food such as baguette or picnic, or if you have booked this as an option, require you to cancel/changeat least 72 hourspre. Otherwise, you will be charged the full fee for the booking and a fee for our extra overheads. Salver's own booking fee is refundednot.
For the guided tourTaste Kivikapplies that cancellation must take place at the latestone weekin advance, as the guide contains food that must be pre-ordered from our many different suppliers. Bookings made later than one week in advance cannot be canceled or changed, and you will not receive any refund if you cancel.
